So, you know Drake Bell from "The Drake and Josh Show," is that high school party dude, but did you know that he's a huge fan of The Beatles? Or that his mom is a world champion billiards player? Well, ha. We did. Find out what else we discovered about that crazy kid.
Zeeks: The Drake and Josh Show debuted in January 2004, and it's been a huge hit since. Do you plan to continue with the show as long as it goes?
Drake: Absolutely!
Zeeks: I read you love the Beatles. Do you have a favorite Beatles tune?
Drake: All You Need Is Love
Zeeks: How about a favorite Beatle?
Drake: John
Zeeks: On your website, you write: "Nothing today compares with that music (of the Beatles)." Anything come close?
Drake: Rufus Wainwright, Ben Folds, and Elliott Smith
Zeeks: Your album, "Telegraph," came out in Aug. 2005. Do you have any plans for a follow up?
Drake: Yes. It's Only Time drops on December 5, 2006.
Zeeks: I heard that your mom is a world champion billiards player. Do you play?
Drake: A little, but my Mom is the pro.
Zeeks: Are you into the whole poker-playing phenomenon?
Drake: No, but I'd like to be if I had the time.
Zeeks: You played Jesse Remo in Jerry Maguire. What was it like telling Tom Cruise where to go?
Drake: Tom was great to work with and nice to everyone on the set. I had a blast!
Zeeks: You played John Cusack's son in "The Jack Bull," then Cusack as a young boy in "High Fidelity". What's the deal? Do you have a contract clause somewhere that says you get to be in Cusack's movies?
Drake: We hit it off so well on Jack Bull that they called me for the part in High Fidelity. He is a talented actor and a nice guy.
Zeeks: You and Josh Peck are so funny together. Are you like that off-camera, too?
Drake: Yup!
Zeeks: Any funny behind-the-scenes stuff you can tell us about Drake and Josh?
Drake: Lots. Too much to mention here, but it comes across in the shows.
Zeeks: Can you tell us anything about the 'Untitled Drake and Josh Project' coming out next year?
Drake: No. Nothing has been set in concrete as of yet.
Zeeks: Best thing about being on a hit TV show?
Drake: The chance to make kids laugh.
Zeeks: Worst thing about being on a hit TV show?
Drake: Nothing, except for the long hours some days.
